The role of the Research and Statistics department is to gather data, perform analysis, and publish reports highlighting the latest industry trends concerning airport data, traffic results, route statistics, financial indicators, fleet expansion plans, and tourism activities amongst the list of various key industry statistics. 

Annually, the department publishes a comprehensive Statistical Report, which analyses the worldwide markets covered by the seventeen member airlines, from financial elements to economic indicators of the aviation industry.
