Passenger Rights

AAPA member airlines strive to provide the best standards of service and are committed to the safe transport of all passengers.

However, the industry remains tightly regulated by a growing patchwork of national, regional, and global passenger rights regulations. These measures are often times extraterritorial in nature and lack uniformity, which create impediments to an airline’s operations. AAPA works to promote the harmonisation of regulations and liberalisation of the industry.

AAPA supports its members through coordinating forums where member airlines can share experiences and best practices in compliance to certain regulations. AAPA also represents its member airlines through engagements with national and regional aviation regulatory bodies in providing Asia Pacific industry’s perspectives on proposed legislation.
